INFRASTRUCTURE

EAST COAST RAIL LINK (ECRL)

The 665 kilometers East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) will traverse the East Coast states of Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang before linking the Klang Valley on the west cost of Peninsular Malaysia. As a national infrastructure, the ECRL will link cities and towns as well as upgrade the public transportation along its rail network. The ECRL project is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2026.

LALUAN TENGAH UTAMA (LTU)

Lebuhraya Lingkaran Timur Utama (LTU) or more commonly known as Central Spine Road (CSR) from Kuala Krai in Kelantan to the district of Betong in Pahang is expected to be fully completed in 2026. The entire length of the highway is approximately 350 kilometers with a construction cost of RM8.7 billion. The construction is divided into 6 different phases:

Phase 1 : Kuala Krai to Jambatan Sungai Lakit (47km)
Phase 2 : Jambatan Sungai Lakit to Gua Mustang (59km)
Phase 3 : Gua Musang to Kampung Relong (92.5km)
Phase 4 : Kampung Relong to Raub (50km)
Phase 5 : Raub to Bentong (54km)
Phase 6 : Bentong to Simpang Pelangai (47.5km)
